Wendy J. Lewis is an artist who works with many different techniques and styles. Not only does she draw and paint, but she is also a sculptor of fountains and kinetic works that use a magical mix of motors and found materials. "I've been wanting to write and illustrate a book with gorillas for a while and this project gave me a good reason to finally work on images that include them. I've always loved gorillas as animals, one of the images represents Japan, the other NYC. This is a picture of NY with the Brooklyn Bridge and the Woolworth Building in the background."
